Wolf Trap is a non-profit performing arts venue offering a broad spectrum of internship opportunities. Annually they employ about 40 interns, and for the spring semester they seek students to work in production and sound, communication and marketing, development (donor relations and special events, or planning and initiatives. The weekly time commitment will likely be 20-24 hours.
Perks of the internship can include free tickets to performances, career workshops, guest speaker seminars, networking opportunities with D.C. area interns, and more. The deadline for spring applications is fast approaching, coming due this Friday, November 1st. Full information may be found HERE and students can apply directly HERE.
One important note is that interns will require a car, as Wolf Trap is not accessible via public transportation. Housing is also the responsibility of the student, and Wolf Trap is located in Virginia.
