Alum John H. Taylor Jr. ’75 has generously endowed a Villanova scholarship program whose principal goal is to assist interns enrolled in the Communications department of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences financially, so that they may pursue practical journalistic experiences through their internships.
To be considered applicants must have secured an internship in the field of journalism (with a priority placed on those at a professional and reputable news organization), and a letter confirming such must be submitted along side the application. The award may be up to $2,900 per semester.
There is a pressing deadline for this amazing opportunity, as all documentation for the application must be submitted no later than 12pm on Monday, December 2nd. There is a great deal more detail on the official page, and all students who believe this is even remotely within their realm should read THIS PAGE in full.
