State Representative Mark Painter: Internship Opportunity
The Office of State Representative Mark Painter is looking for part-time and full-time interns for the Fall 2013 semester in their office in the Pottstown area. Representative Painter is a newly elected Democratic member of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, and interns will get the opportunity to work closely with various staff members. As an office intern, individuals can expect to assist staff in areas such as constituent services, public outreach, and event coordination. Interns may also be expected to assist in the upkeep of various forms of social media and research news stories or current events in the district.
Previous study in the field of political science is recommended, but is not required to apply. Flexibility in scheduling is available, and college credit hours are available for interns depending on the requirements set by their college or institution.
