Social Identity at Work: Exploring Diversity in the Workplace

Social Identity at Work: Exploring Diversity in the Workplace
Wednesday, March 13th, 6:00pm, Bartley 2010

Just like in group projects, going to work in the “real world” will introduce you to all different kinds of people and views.  Wonder what it’s like to have a unique racial, ethnic, religious, or other social identity at work?  Join us on Wednesday, March 13th at 6:00pm in Bartley Hall (room 2010) where you’ll get the chance to hear from people who work at KPMG, and Teach for America, Vanguard, and Wegmans as they share their experiences of diversity in the workplace.  The evening will begin with a panel discussion, continue to focused small group conversations, and end with open-ended networking opportunities where you’ll have the chance to meet one-on-one with the professionals.  Food and refreshments will be provided.  All attendees will be entered into a drawing to win $50 gift cards to the Villanova bookstore and Gullifty’s.
